Family Therapy
The journey of cultivating healthy and fulfilling relationships begins with therapy. Dr. Kim Oppenheimer dedicates services focused on fostering communication, understanding, and resilience within relationships, guiding couples towards a deeper connection and mutual growth.
Co-Parenting/ Parent Coordination
The research is extensive on the short and long-term consequences for children whose parents do not get along. In fact, it is the number one predictor of child maladjustment. Dr. Oppenheimer works with couples who are divorcing to improve their communication as it relates to parenting, improve their ability to listen to one another regarding concerns about the children, develop parenting plans, negotiate the intangibles that parenting plans do not cover, and enforce court-ordered custody and parenting arrangements. A court order is required for Parent Coordination services; one is not required for co-parenting therapy.
Mother/ Daughter Dynamics
Dr. Kim Oppenheimer offers specialized services in helping mother and daughter overcome their relationship struggles. Her approach is to address each person's unique needs, provide support and compassionate environment for healing and growth.
