My Approach

As a systems trained psychologist, I focus on relationships across one’s lifespan. The family dynamics in childhood set the stage for the partners we select in romantic relationships and in the families we create. I believe we can break free from the unhelpful behavioral patterns we learned from our families of origin that cause stress and conflict in the relationships we choose. Often, anxiety, unhappiness, sadness, feelings of depression, excessive drinking, and/or anger toward loved ones are the first signals that something is wrong. Therapy can help stop the cycle and help you get back to feeling like you again. I offer individual, couples, and family therapy. Specifically,
